Educational Background

2025 - Present PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern University
2023 - 2025 Master of Science in Applied Materials Science at the University of Minnesota Duluth
2014-2018 Bachelor of Technology in Textile Technology at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi

Research Objectives

My research objectives are to study sustainable materials for environmental remediation applications, including water treatment, contaminant removal, nutrient recovery, and carbon capture. I am interested in linking material structure, processing, and surface functionality to performance and sustainability. My goal is to combine materials characterization, testing, and life cycle thinking to help develop scalable and environmentally responsible remediation technologies.

 Honors & Awards

Awarded for the conference paper “Textile Circular Economy: Addressing Material Waste in Recycling and Product Development,” presented at ASME IDETC/CIE 2025, Anaheim, CA.
