Research Objectives
My work is focused on improved understanding and enhancement of optical properties of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides. Specifically, I am exploring the use of shape changes and integration of plasmonic nanostructures in 2D systems for possible application in next-generation optoelectronic devices. I focus on the synthesis and characterization of these structures, namely characterizing the optical and structural properties via Raman/PL spectroscopy and electron microscopy, respectively.
Honors and Awards
