Research Objectives
I research self-assembled polymer structures. One focus of my work is the characterization of the polymer structures using analytical electron microscopy (EELS & EDS). Additionally, with electron microscopy, I investigate hard-soft interfaces formed between the polymer and iron-based magnetic nanostructures. Through this work, we aim to understand the formation of the hard-soft composite's structure. Future work will include the application of the composites as MRI contrast agents and drug delivery devices.
