Peter Lim Wins Outstanding Graduate Student Poster Award at “Exploring the Quantum Universe – A Fermilab Quantum Symposium!”

On December 2-5, Fermilab and the Superconducting Quantum Materials and Systems (SQMS) Center hosted “Exploring the Quantum Universe – A Fermilab Quantum Symposium”, in celebration of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ 2025). This event brought together international experts, students, researchers, and governmental representatives to reflect on the latest advances and discuss future directions in quantum science, technology and applications.

Peter Lim, a graduate student of the group, was awarded the top graduate student poster award at the event’s poster session. His poster showcased the synergistic capabilities of Northwestern and the NUANCE Center in advancing state-of-the-art performance of superconducting qubits, a key component of quantum technologies.

Congratulations Peter!
