Angel Green Samuel and Team Develop Breakthrough HIV Test

Dravid Group postdoc, Dr. Angel Green Samuel, collaborated with Professor Dravid and the Hulquist Lab in Feinberg to develop a new HIV test. The study titled: "Nanomechanical systems for the rapid detection of HIV-1 p24 antigen" was published in Biosensors and Bioelectronics. Using microcantilever technology and a solar-powered device, the test can detect multiple HIV antigens within minutes! You can read more about the study here.
