Michael Barsoum Winner of 2024 IIN Outstanding Researcher Visionary Award

After competitive nomination process, Mike Barsoum was selected to compete in the IIN Outstanding Researcher 3-minute thesis competition against the other selected applicants. Participants were given three minutes to explain their thesis at a level that people with all backgrounds could understand. Mike's talk was titled: "Carbon Capture: A Big Problem with a Nano-sized Solution". After deliberation, judges selected Mike and five other finalists who were selected as "Outstanding Researcher- Visionary." Professor Chad Mirkin will present Mike with his award at a symposium, where Mike will also present his research poster.
