Celebrating Dr. Liubov Bondarenko on a Job Well Done

Dr. Liubov Bondarenko returned to Russia with her family to continue her scholarly work. She has been researching with VPD group for the last several months and become a valued member of the team. Dr. Bondarenko's research focuses on preparation and physicochemical characterization of magnetic nanoparticles in various organic shells, including pectin, chitosan, humic acids, activated carbons, and silanes for use as sorbents for the removal of heavy metals and antibiotics, as well as catalysts for the Fenton reaction to initiate ferroptosis. She also studies the influence of conditions of use, including aging, on the microstructure and functional properties of nanoparticles.
