New article published in Energy and Environmental Science

An article written by VPD group members titled, "Discordant Nature of Cd in PbSe: Off-centering and Core-shell Nanoscale CdSe Precipitates Lead to High Thermoelectric Performance" was recently published in Energy and Environmental Science. Songting Cai, co-advised by both Prof. Dravid and Prof. Kanatzidis, is the first author on this article. The article presented a novel approach to design hierarchical microstructure in the PbSe-CdSe system, which collectively contributes to significant enhancement in thermoelectric performance, the highest reported for p-type, Te-free PbSe systems and can be found here. Congratulations!
