VPD Group tours new facility

The VPD Group will be moving into a new facility in the A/B wing of the Tech Institute later this year. The group toured the facility, which is still under construction, in January.

The new facility will have brand new office spaces and a kitchenette — a feature that VPD Group member Jen DiStefano says is a welcome addition.

"I'm excited to be upgrading to such a modern lab space," she said. "It'll be great having most of the group in one office just feet away from our lab and equipment."

Will Kellogg agreed that the group's new, more centralized home will be beneficial.

"This will facilitate collaboration within the group and also just provide a more homey environment overall," he said.

The group expects to move into the new facility in June 2019.
