Fernando attends MRS conference and ASU Microscopy Workshop

Fernando spent the last week in the Phoenix area, attending the 2016 MRS Spring meeting with fellow group members Qianqian Li, Yuan Li, and Jinsong Wu. Fernando spent most of his time attending symposia focused on the fields of Li-ion batteries and advanced applications of electron microscopy, in addition to giving a poster presentation based on his own work. He also spent one day at Arizona State University, where he attended a workshop on “Challenges and Opportunities for Aberration Corrected Microscopy”. Overall, it was a great experience and Fernando is ready to dive back into his research!
