VPD undergrad received Meister Award

chae David Chae is the recipient of the Meister Award. This award recognizes the materials science and engineering sophomore who best demonstrates achievement of excellence, through leadership, scholarship, service, and/or outstanding research accomplishment.

David’s proposed research will focus on investigating how different noble metal nano-plasmonic structures with different geometries influence photoemission in various 2D transition metal dichalcogenides such as MoS2, WS2 and MoSe2.
