Fernando Castro Receives Scholarship to ASU EM Workshop

Fernando Castro has recieved a full scholarship to travel to Arizona State University in January to participate in the annual Winter School on High Resolution Electron Microscopy. During this week-long program, he will gain more detailed knowledge on the theory and practice of high resolution electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy in general. Speaking about the development, Fernando said, "My goal is to take what I learn at the Winter School and translate it to continued success in my own graduate research on electron microscopy of materials for energy generation and storage."  We wish him luck networking and learning at this prestigious event!
