Congratulations to Karl Hujsak, 2014 NSF Graduate Fellow
Prestigious fellowship to enable creative solutions in biological imaging
First year graduate student Karl Hujsak has been awarded the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship, a highly competitive and sought after fellowship. The award provides three years of full financial support to Karl, allowing him to engage in high risk and cutting edge research that normally would go uninvestigated. Karl will use his financial support to explore new opportunities in thermo-mechanics and subsurface imaging in soft and biological materials, acessing the invisible information that drives properties and function at the nanoscale.
