Karl Hujsak receives PSOC fellowship
Please join us in congratulating Karl Hujsak for receiving a fellowship from the NU Physical Sciences-Oncology Center!
Karl Hujsak will utilize advanced scanning probe and electron microscopy to investigate quantitative viscoelastic and nano-mechanical behavior of cells, particularly cancer cell lines of interest to NU PSOC (e.g., HT29 colon cancer) as well as biomolecular complexes involved in signal transduction/transcription. This will involve morphological, ultrastructural and biochemical changes coupled to partial wave spectroscopy (PWS) and related studies, in collaboration with PSOC members.
