Prof. Dravid and Prof. Chad Mirkin visited India

Prof. Chad Mirkin delivered an invited talk at JNCASR, Bangalore, India. Prof C N R Rao hosted the program in honor of the NU delegation. Prof. Chintamani Nagesa Ramachandra Rao (C N R Rao), Linus Pauling Research Professor and Honorary President of the JawaharlalNehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research(JNCASR)Bangalore, is one of the world's foremost solid state and materials chemists. Professor Rao has the unique honour of being a Fellow/Member of all the major academies of the world including The Royal Society London, National Academy of Sciences, USA, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, the French Academy of Sciences and the Japan Academy.

He is the founding President of the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, a well-known multidisciplinary research institute in India. He is also the director of the International Centre for Materials Science (ICMS).
