The VPD Group Two-Dimensional Subgroup met with Prof. Shivaprasad of Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research during his visit to Northwestern to discuss his latest research.  Prof. Shivaprasad presented on potential emergent effects in gallium nitride nanostructures and the current work being done to characterize them.  Professor Shivaprasad's visit stands as an element of the VPD Group's commitment to international collaborative research with partners in India.
