VPD Group Member Receives Corbin Scholarship

VPD Group member Felix Richter received the 2012-13 Corbin Scholarship in recognition of his outstanding academic achievement. The Corbin Scholarship is granted to a senior who is entering graduate school and has been on significant financial aid for all four years of College.  The Weinberg Student Awards Ceremony will be held on June 5th in Harris 108.

Felix was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, one of the oldest and most prestigious honors societies in the United States. His thesis was approved by the Integrated Science Committee, and he will be graduating with Honors in June.

Felix will be enrolling in the Medical Scientist Training Program at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, one of the top 20 medical schools in the United States, to earn an NIH funded MD-PhD in immunology.
